Privacy Policy — United States
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit kodel.ai ("the Site") or subscribe to Kodel product updates from the United States. It is intended to comply with applicable U.S. laws including the federal CAN-SPAM Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA, and analogous state privacy laws.
1. Who we are
The Site and the Kodel pre-launch subscription list are operated by:
- Yury Tyurin, sole proprietor (autónomo) based in Spain.

We plan to migrate operations to a Delaware C-Corporation under the Kodel brand before public launch. A postal address for CAN-SPAM purposes is included in every email we send and is available on request to the address above.
2. Information we collect
When you subscribe to product updates through the Site, we collect:
- your email address;
- a consent record (timestamp, IP address, the version of this Policy you accepted, the regional policy that was shown to you);
- your country and region, derived from your IP address via Cloudflare's edge geolocation;
- UTM campaign parameters present in the URL (if any);
- the source URL and page title at the moment of submission.
We also use cookieless, aggregate analytics to count page views, referrers, and country-level traffic. This analytics does not identify individual visitors, does not set cookies, and is not used for advertising.
3. How we use it
- To send you the product updates you asked for.
- To confirm and prove that your subscription was lawfully obtained.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not engage in targeted advertising.
4. Service providers
We disclose personal information to a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf under written contracts:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — hosts the Site and the subscription database (Cloudflare Pages, Workers, D1).
- Resend (Resend, Inc.) (USA) — sends confirmation emails and product updates.
5. CAN-SPAM compliance
Every commercial email we send identifies Kodel as the sender, includes a valid postal address, describes the message as advertising or commercial where required, and includes a functioning one-click unsubscribe mechanism. Unsubscribe requests are honoured within 10 business days.
6. Your California rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it;
- request a copy of that information;
- request deletion of your personal information;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect or use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics);
- opt out of sale or sharing of personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal information.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@kodel.ai with the subject line "California Privacy Request". We may need to verify your identity by confirming control of the email address on file. You can also designate an authorised agent to act on your behalf.
We do not discriminate against consumers for exercising their privacy rights.
7. Other state privacy laws
Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with comparable privacy laws can exercise equivalent rights of access, correction, deletion, and opt-out by emailing privacy@kodel.ai.
8. Retention
- Confirmed subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus up to 12 months afterward as proof of opt-in and opt-out.
- Unconfirmed subscriptions: auto-deleted after 30 days if the confirmation link is not clicked.
- Aggregate analytics: retained up to 24 months.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy as Kodel evolves. We will update the version number and effective date above and, for material changes affecting existing subscribers, notify you by email before the change takes effect.
